CTNCW accepts donated computers from individuals as well as businesses. As a a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher, we accept Pentuim level 500 mHz or higher for refurbishing. Including working 17" or larger monitors, Keyboards and other perpherals.

• We offer corporations and individuals a donation receipt.

• We also sanitize hard disks to DOD and all major Regulatory specifications.

• Afraid to donate your old computers to one charity, for fear of opening the floodgates to hundreds of donation requests?  Or afraid of appearing to favor one cause over another?   Because Community Technology systems are available to virtually all charities, when you  donate to us your donations are available to virtually any charity in need. 

Recycling

WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR COMPUTER WHEN IT IS RECYCLED?

Computers that are deemed obsolete or broken are demanufactured and separated into their basic components. We then finds a local industrial recycler to process the materials

• Aluminum, wires and cables are sold to Greater Wenatchee Recycling, in Wenatchee, Washington.

• Circuit boards and processors are sold for precious metal recovery to Greater Wenatchee Recycling, in Wenatchee, Washington.

• Scrap Metal is taken to Greater Wenatchee Recycling.

Guidelines for equipment donation

Community Technology of NCW accepts computers in any condition. If you are donating a computer older than a Pentium III, we do require a $10.00 donation to help with our processing costs. We do not accept monitors for recycling.

Recycling Ink Jet Cartridges, Laser Cartridges and Cell Phones.

Help Community Technology by recycling your used cell phone, ink jet cartridges and laser cartridges. You can drop them off at our office or contact us for a collections box for your office.
